2016! A little late starting....

We started off the new year with a big bang! I took you to your first circus in downtown Tampa with your best friend Ansley. I used to go to the circus all the time when I was a little girl and I couldn't wait to take you to it. There's a big controversy going on right now regarding the abuse and use of living elephants. This will probably be the last year you'll ever see an elephant in the circus and I wanted to make sure that you saw it. It was an amazing day and we had so much fun together.

Bye bye North Pole! Hello 2016

You carried your suitcase throughout the entire airport until we got to our gate. We were so sad leaving the north pole but we were excited to come home to daddy. We love being at the cabin and love being with my family!

You had a wonderful time at the cabin this entire week. Meagan and all her boys met us there and we had so much fun. Every day we did something special outside whether if it was sledding or hiking or building snow people we had such a great time. Every night we made special dinners and desserts and You lead prayer every single night before dinner. Berkey kept him biting you the whole time but you're pretty good about it. You really love spending time with the recent Quinn, especially Quinn. You told me you really don't want to leave the cabin but you love daddy morning you're excited to fly home to see him. You squeeze me really tight sometimes and say you love me so much you don't know what to do with all this love! I love sleeping with you at the cabin you're like an electric blanket you're so nice and warm all the time. You always do a really great job at playing with your cousin so nicely. I'm so proud of you. Quinn said you're becoming a really nice Christian because he overheard you talking to God.

The Drake

Christmas dinner at The Drake in downtown Chicago on Michigan Ave. uncle Noel and Lindsay met us at the Drake and we had a wonderful dinner party they are. They gave you seven Barbie dolls for Christmas! It was a special night because my mom used to have lunch with her father in the same restaurant. The waiter's name was Tony as well. My grandfather Tony definitely was with us that night. You loved the Christmas Carolers  that walked around the dining room and singing everyone's favorite Christmas songs.

We ate at all of mommy's favorite restaurants: Rodities in Greektown and the Grapevine in Lagrange.
